Extrapolations in Social Sciences: The New Frontiers
The future in Social Sciences lies in exploring the many connections stemming from well researched conclusions. And the Internet of People IoP will facilitate the blossoming of meaningful insights out of all these connections. As computerized data are processed more rapidly on the spot, and as people become ever more connected to each other and as they volunteer more data out of their personal experiences, even making their voices more heard, not only on social media, but also through the Internet of Things IoT, Context will become more insightful.
Analyses of Variance, Regressions etc. will be readily at hand for researchers to make sense of, as they will be automatic to the consumption of such data. What will matter then are the directions elicited from all the connections possible...
Even when they are taken into account, connections evolve following time and space, the vision and the needs of the moment. And they cannot be foreseen all the time following some formulae or equations, or regressions or analyses of variances, as new factors and new vectors spring out of the combinations of forces moving a phenomena from internal perspectives and external prospective, or even external effects.
New frontiers are always on the horizon. The domains of attraction are diverse, but they may be considered for a sense of directions. And directions as they influence each other may give ideas about happenstance. The following is a map that may help navigate Big Data in the Social Sciences and inform Interdisciplinary Research...
